Purpose. This specification provides ergonomics guidelines for part and component design for new products supplied to GM.
Applicability. This specification will apply to all Statements of Requirements (SOR) used in General Motors product designs, including Global Propulsion Systems (formerly GM Powertrain) designs. Where possible the use of these SORs will be included in specific components, i.e., spark plug wires, hoses, caps, etc.
