Purpose. The purpose of this test procedure is to determine if a vehicle meets the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 118 and the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 118.
Applicability. Applicability extends to all Passenger cars and Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles (MPV).
