Provides definitions and, where applicable, abbreviations of terms, used in connection with welding, brazing and cutting of metals. Terms are in alphabetical sequence covering general terms relating to welding and terms relating to fusion welding, to welding with pressure, to braze welding, to brazing and soldering, to thermal spraying, to thermal cutting, to weld imperfections, to destructive testing, and to health and safety. The terms and definitions relating to processes in general are grouped in a separate section and are repeated in other sections, as appropriate. An alphabetical index is included.
