Full Description

Defines cuprammonium fluidity of cotton and man-made fibres expressed in units of cuprammonium fluidity, and sets out procedure for determining the fluidity of a solution of cuprammonium hydroxide containing a known quantity of dissolved fibre by use of a viscometer. The viscometer and a means for pretreatment of fibres which are difficult to dissolve are covered in appendices.
