Specifies the requirements for the design, performance and rating of arc welding power sources of the transformer type. It covers transformer type power sources having an alternating current or direct current (rectified) output. Both single-operator and multi-operator machines are covered and calculations of equivalent loadings for multi-operator machines are included. Various routine and type tests are contained in the appendices.
