Full Description

Specifies grade descriptions for structural grades of hardwood, (Nos/1, 2, 3 and 4), graded for adequacy of strength. Derived from these grades are appearance grades which have additional limitations on the visual characteristics allowed in structural members exposed to view. A new stress grade titled A17 grade in included based on an in-grade study. Appendices cover stress grades, strength groups and methods of measurement of characteristics.
