Adopts ISO 8980-5:2005, which specifies the requirement and test method for spectacle lens surfaces that are claimed to provide a basic level of abrasion resistance. This Standard replaces relevant text in AS 2228.1-1992, which is intended to be withdrawn by February 2012.
