Specifies essential safety requirements for plugs, socket-outlets, cable couplers and appliance couplers for operation at 50 Hz, with a rated voltage not exceeding 660 V and a rated current not exceeding 315 A intended for general industrial use. It is intended to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS 3100.
