Applies to separable contacts used above (and including)10V (typically 24V) where contacts are used for switching loads with possible electrical erosion, such as programmable controller inputs or below 10V (typically 5V) with negligible electrical erosion, such as electronic circuits. Does not apply to contacts used in identical with and reproduced from IEC 60947-5-4;1996.
